What is a customer?
A customer is the most important person in our company quite regardless of whether they are there in person, writing to us or on the telephone.
A customer is not dependent on us - we are dependent on them.
A customer isn't an interruption to our work, but the whole point of it. We're not doing the customer a favour by serving them – they're doing us a favour by giving us the chance to serve.
A customer is not an outsider, but a living part of our business.
A customer is not someone with whom one conducts a dispute or whose intellect is gauged. No one has ever won a dispute with a customer.
A customer is someone who brings their wish to us. It is our remit to fulfil this wish profitably – for them and for us!
A customer is not a pain in the neck – they secure your workplace!
