Privacy policy
1. Personal data
The Federal Data Protection Act defines as personal data that which can be used to find out your identity. This includes for example your name, your (e-mail) address or your telephone number. Data which is not considered personal data, on the other hand, is that which cannot explicitly be connected with you (e.g. the number of visitors to a website).
2. Collection of usage data
To be able to guarantee a high level of security of our website and to optimise its availability, we store selected usage data of visitors when accessing internet pages operated by us. We store this data on protected servers in Germany for a limited period. Access to this data is only possible by authorised persons. No evaluation of this user data takes place to compile personal usage profiles.
Specifically, we store the domain names or IP addresses of the accessing computer, the client file request (file name and URL), the http code, the type of browser used by you and the browser version, the internet page from which you visit us as well as the date and duration of your visit.
3. Utilisation of contact data
Should you send us an e-mail or fill out one of our online forms, your personal data (such as name, e-mail address, areas of interest) shall be used solely for correspondence with you in order, for example, to send you information requested or documents. Any other utilisation shall be solely for the purposes to which you have expressly agreed in the respective form. E-mail addresses shall not be used to send unsolicited e-mails without your consent.
4. Use of cookies, storage and transmission of data for statistical purposes
We use the web analysis service Piwik to carry out a statistical evaluation of the usage of our website. This is done to enable us to adapt our website both technically and in terms of content to the needs of the visitor. To this end, different data is collected from the visitors to our website. We store this data on protected servers in Germany for a limited period. Access to this data is only possible by authorised persons.
The data collected within the scope of the web analysis is stored anonymously: IP addresses are shortened by several digits and thus allow no inferences as to the identity of the website visitor. No evaluation of this user data takes place to compile personal usage profiles. Transmission to a third party does not happen.
We use cookies for some applications. These are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. This enables us to recognise you on your next visit. The use of cookies in this case is not connected with personal information on the use of our website. Also in this case you can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. It may not be possible to use certain services in this instance.
5. Forwarding of personal data to a third party
We use your personal data solely within our company. Should data be forwarded within the scope of order data processing to a service provider then we likewise obligate that provider to compliance with the Federal Data Protection Act. We shall only forward your data to authorised bodies insofar as we are obliged to do so by law or judicial ruling.
6. Liability for linked content
Our website contains links to other websites. We have no influence on how the operators of the linked websites handle the information shown on these sites. Should you have questions on this point please contact these third parties directly. We are not responsible for the compliance with the data protection provisions or the content of these websites.
7. Disclosure of information stored by us
You have, of course, the right to demand information concerning data on you being stored by us. Please contact us for this. We are also happily available for any other questions you may have on data protection in our company.
