Load capacity tests
How stressable are anchor dowels, anchor rods or reinforcing steels?
How much force or load can they absorb?
Is the load capacity sufficient for the requirements?
This information can be reliably determined by means of a load test. Load tests are stipulated in countless areas, amongst others in facade and scaffold construction or anchoring machinery in industrial plants. The load capacities of anchor dowels, anchor rods and reinforcing steels are also examined in the case of anchoring elevators or facade components, attaching balconies and porches or retrospective reinforcement connections.
Where anchor dowels are deployed outwith the DIN standards, load tests are often likewise performed to verify that the dowel can absorb the load without damage. Besides this, the pull-out strength of an anchor dowel or anchor rod can be determined to failure point.
Based on our long-standing practical experience, we have developed a special clamping collet with which reinforcement steels from 6 to 32mm can be gripped and pulled out. This extraction collet contributes to time and cost savings in terms of load testing whereby we are able to offer and carry out this service with particular efficiency.
As a professional service provider we offer load tests of up to 100kN and guarantee rapid and uncomplicated implementation. A clearly represented evaluation of the results of the load test is, of course, included in our offer.
